John Williams wrote the Star Wars score in 1977. It won the Academy Award, launched one of the most recognized musical themes in history, and changed what people expected from a film. Fifty years later, the full orchestra performs it live while the movie plays on the big screen, with every note performed live, from the opening fanfare to the final battle.
